COVID-19 Updates Updated February 3rd, 2021 Keeping residents, resident families and staff members safe is our number one priority. We are actively monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus (termed “COVID-19”), as well as its continued impact locally and nationally. We will communicate any changes and updates as they become available. We understand that this is a very challenging time for all and we are committed to the care and wellness of all those who live in, work in, and visit our communities. At this time, we are proud to partner with CVS and have already offered both doses of COVID-19 vaccinations to our residents and team members. We have at least one more clinic scheduled at all of our communities to vaccinate new residents who move in. Below are some of the precautions we are continuing to implement until further notice: · Screening all staff and residents daily for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 infections · Following and adhering to the relevant CDC and local and state Department of Health guidelines & implementing stringent infection control policies, including requiring staff to wear masks at all times. · Prohibiting non-essential visitors inside the community. · Conducting communal dining with social distancing for residents. · Outdoor visitation and window visits by appointment. · Small group activities or adhering to activities with social distancing for residents. · Quarantining both staff and residents when exhibiting CDC defined symptoms or upon move-in or returning from a healthcare setting. · Conducting COVID-19 testing for any resident or staff exhibiting CDC defined symptoms based on CDC defined guidelines for testing. Please note that a primary care physician’s order is required. New Residents: We continue to welcome new residents into our communities and can offer tours for those who are looking to move in the near future. We have a dedicated team ready to support you throughout the transition and have created a seamless, easy move-in process to ensure your loved one is safe and comfortable. We are truly a community of people working together to navigate the current crisis in the safest possible manner for our residents and staff members while creating the best possible environment where our residents THRIVE. We understand connection is important, and are proud to offer innovative ways for our residents to connect with family and friends. We will continue our partnerships with public health authorities and update this page when new relevant information is available.
